Job summary

Actalent in Boston, MA is seeking an Intermediate Civil/Structural Engineer to design, detail, model and coordinate with project teams for deliverables across large projects. This permanent, hybrid role focuses on structural design and documentation.

You will mentor less experienced engineers, participate in client interactions, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing through continuing education sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; EIT or on track to obtain EIT.
• 3–5 years of experience in the structural engineering field.
• Proficient with Office 365, Tekla, Bluebeam, and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Design, detail, model, and coordinate with teams for design deliverables and reports.
• Maintain full design control of certain aspects of large projects and mentor junior staff.
• Engage in project tasks including proposal, design, documentation, construction administration, closeout, and invoicing.
• Provide client-focused technical input and contribute to internal continuing education sessions.

• Design, detail, model (analytically and graphically), and coordinate with teams for the purpose of preparing documents, reports, studies, design deliverables, etc. - Responsible for full design control of certain aspects of large projects - Work as a mentor to less experienced engineers - Engage in projects as assigned and may include proposal, design, documentation, construction administration, closeout, and invoicing - Will be responsive to clients centered on technical and professional competence - Beyond project execution, will participate in internal working groups, present their experience to the office in the form of continuing education sessions, consider industry engagement for professional development and career advancement

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
