Job summary

Actalent in Beaverton, OR, is seeking a Structural Engineer to oversee the production and management of construction documents. You will design steel systems for industrial and commercial facilities and produce detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Job Title: Structural EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to oversee the production and management of construction documents. Essential Skills

  • Structural engineering expertise, with an EIT certification required and a PE preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for design and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of structural steel, design calculations, and current building codes, particularly OSSC and ASCE7.
  • At least 3 years of experience in structural engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

The position involves working both in a cubicle-style office environment and onsite at various locations, including client facilities. Collaboration with one of the largest clients on the West Coast is an integral part of the role, involving interaction with contractors and other consultants.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $55.00/hr.
