Job summary

Qualifications

Founded in 1980, Robertson Loia Roof P.C. is a Georgia-based Architectural/Engineering firm specializing in the design of K-12 education, commercial retail facilities, commercial office buildings, and industrial buildings. Over the last 40 years RLR has developed from a small three-person firm into a growing 60-person full-service A & E firm offering in-house Architectural, Interiors, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design services to our clients.

Responsibilities and Activities:

• Preliminary design of structural system coordinating with architectural, civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines in-house
• Structural design of entire building structural systems of steel, masonry, wood, cold formed framing and reinforced concrete
• Prepare engineering calculations and structural construction documents using Revit
• Perform construction administration including shop drawing review and site observation
• Coordinate with project team to meet owner and company goals
• Meet task and project deadlines

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be proficient in Revit Structure, Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, and Enercalc is a plus
• Organization is key; more often than not, your workload will involve more than one project with varying, and sometimes conflicting, deadlines
• Team Player; works well in a team environment and is also self-motivated and task-oriented

Requirements:
