Job summary

HDR is seeking a Structural EIT/Designer to contribute to Building Engineering Services. You will help design critical infrastructure, analyze options, and support cost estimates for projects ranging from data centers to commercial facilities.

You will work in a collaborative, employee-owned culture, with opportunities to progress to higher roles as you gain EIT credentials and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• EIT preferred; candidates without EIT may be titled Structural Designer for progression.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to develop design options and assist in preparing cost estimates and specs for structural projects.
• Perform routine engineering tasks using standard techniques and procedures.
• Work independently on small projects or support senior engineers on larger ones.
• Provide direction to clerical and technical staff as needed.
• Take on additional duties as required.

In the role of Structural EIT/Designer, we'll count on you to:

• Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications for structural engineering projects

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT preferred. Candidates without their EIT will be called a Structural Designer and expected to obtain EIT for career progression.
