Job summary

HDR is seeking a Structural EIT with 0 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience to join our Denver area team. You will work under licensed professionals on projects that deliver safe buildings, clean water infrastructure, and critical facilities from design through construction.

You will collaborate in multi-discipline teams, perform structural design and analysis, prepare specifications, and model in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering required.
• GPA 3.25 overall and in engineering coursework preferred for recent grads.
• Experience with concrete, steel, wood/timber, and masonry design using IBC/ASCE codes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis of building and civil structures for various project types.
• Prepare specifications and contribute to drawings for construction documents.
• Model using Revit and AutoCAD to produce contract documents.
• Periodically visit construction sites to inspect work and address changes.
• Participate in multi-discipline team meetings, design charettes, and client reviews.
