BlueScope Buildings North America’s Engineering team is seeking an Engineering Technician to translate engineering designs into precise construction documents and fabrication plans. You will develop erection, approval, permit, and anchor rod drawings while supporting production in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, schedule adherence, and ongoing technical development across products, materials, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or 2-year technical degree or 2 additional years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and fabrication plans based on engineering designs and project specifications.
• Create erection drawings, approval drawings, permit drawings, and anchor rod layouts.
• Upload, edit, and release parts into the manufacturing system for production.
• Work closely with project teams to identify challenges, propose solutions, and ensure cost-effective, efficient project execution.
• Maintain project schedules to meet customer needs and ensure high-quality service.
