Job summary

Main duties include material take-offs, coordinating scope changes, RFIs, and ensuring deliverables align with budget and schedule. Travel occasional, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Industrial or Construction Engineering.
• 2+ years in estimating and detailing of Structural Steel for commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer during engineering and detailing phase.
• Review contracts and establish scope with exclusions.
• Provide or coordinate scope changes to sales and customers.
• Perform detailed material take-off including welding work.
• Coordinate with customers to set deliverables sequencing.
• Develop RFIs and review project status with changes.
• 3D and 2D modeling, drafting, and checking of drawings.
• Travel occasionally as required.
• Collaborate with internal and external detailing teams.
