Job summary

IKG USA LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Structural Detailing Engineer to oversee design inputs, prepare fabrication drawings, and coordinate with the Sales & Operations teams to keep projects on schedule. You will interface with customers during engineering and detailing, review contract scope, perform 3D modeling and drafting, and resolve issues with internal groups to meet budget and deadline targets.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in an engineering field and 2+ years in steel

Qualifications

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Industrial or Construction Engineering.
2+ years of experience in estimating and detailing of Structural Steel & miscellaneous detailing for commercial or industrial construction projects.
Knowledge in 2D and 3D CAD software; excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Act as primary interface with customer during the engineering / detailing phase of the project.
Review contract documents, establish scope of items and any exclusions.
Provide or coordinate scope changes to sales and customer; perform detailed material take-offs.
3D & 2D modeling, drafting, and checking of drawings; ensure alignment with project schedules.
