Job summary

WSP's Industrial Center of Excellence (ICoE) in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a Structural Designer to join our team. You will support the structural design of new buildings, renovations, and industrial facilities, producing detailed drafting for structural steel systems and equipment supports.

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will apply CAD/BIM standards and participate in QA/QC processes to deliver high-quality designs that meet client needs and project goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 7+ years of experience in civil design and terrain modeling using Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or comparable software.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic project environment.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn and apply new technologies.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma
• 7+ years of experience in civil design and terrain modeling using Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or comparable software

• Solid understanding of basic mathematical concepts and drawing setup
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Advanced expertise with Revit
• Experience working in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• Prior construction experience in an industrial or commercial environment

Compensation:

Expected Hourly: $30.97 - $44.28
