Axiom Consultants, a Ruekert & Mielke company, is seeking a Structural Designer for its Building Services division in Iowa City or Madison. You’ll contribute from schematic design through construction closeout and work with structural engineers and architects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structural drafting/design experience or 5+ years in the industry.
• Experience with concrete, masonry, wood, foundations, and steel detailing.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and construction documents using Revit.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design concepts.
• Coordinate structural design with architectural, MEP, and civil teams.
• Support construction administration by reviewing shop drawings and RFIs.
• Participate in project meetings and ensure adherence to drafting standards.
