Qualifications

Structural Designer

Will work on a wide range of industrial projects developing 3D models for structural steel and concrete foundations. Projects are all industrial so anyone with millwork or material handling project experience will be good.

• Must have a minimum of 10+ years of structural design experience (concrete foundations/structural steel) including a minimum of 5 years in 3D structural design
• Associates Degree in drafting or technical drawings preferred
• AutoCAD proficiency needed with Advance Steel 3D experience to do the 3D modelling

Must have experience designing various industrial projects/industrial buildings, foundations & structural steel

• Chemical facilities
• Gas compressor stations

Most of the current structural design work is for concrete foundations/structural steel for industrial buildings

Some structural design work for industrial equipment foundations as well

Must have experience designing various types of foundations

• Slab-on-grade systems
• Shallow foundations (strip footings, spread footings)
• Deep foundations (piles, caissons, helical screw anchors)
• Project experience using Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)

Material handling experience is a plus

• Conveying systems
• Load-out facilities
• Screening facilities
