Great Northern is seeking a Structural Designer to develop package and display concepts aligned with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities. You will fabricate samples for approval, write production specs and cost estimates, and assist sales with market presentations.

The role demands CAD proficiency, strong 3D visualization, and excellent communication. Adherence to company values and quality standards is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with CAD system design certificate or equivalent CAD design experience.
• College degree in packaging preferred.
• Experience in display or packaging industry with manufacturing operations and CAD design.
• Familiarity with corrugated terminology, properties, machinery and testing procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop package and display design concepts based on customer requirements and manufacturing constraints.
• Fabricate final samples for approval and write specifications for cost estimates and production.
• Support sales and internal teams by presenting concepts to the market.
• Adhere to company mission/values and quality standards in all tasks.
