Job summary

Great Northern is seeking a Design Assistant to support structural designers in creating package and display designs using CAD systems, fabricating samples, and writing specifications for cost estimates and production. This is an onsite Minnesota role with a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive hourly pay.

You will learn Artios Software, assist with mockups with the prepress team, and help manage the design room and inventory while upholding safety, quality, and teamwork in a collaborative

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Two years CAD design education or certificate preferred.
• Ethical standards and personal integrity expected.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist structural designers in developing package and display concepts.
• Fabricate final samples and write specs for estimates and production.
• Operate CAD table and maintain design room organization.
• Coordinate with prepress on artwork for mockups.
• Support Sales, Customer Service and Production as needed.
• Learn Artios Software and maintain attention to detail.
