Job summary

A leading design firm in Sioux Falls is seeking a Structural Designer/Engineer to perform structural calculations and prepare construction documents. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a solid understanding of materials design. Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mechanics of materials, wood, reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry design.
• Prior structural engineering experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations and prepare construction documents for various projects.
• Assist in preparing/revising drawings and specifications as per project requirements.
• Participate in weekly project meetings.
