Job summary

TSP, Inc. - Architecture | Engineering | Planning in Sioux Falls seeks a Professional Engineer to perform structural calculations and prepare construction documents for a variety of projects.

You will apply mechanics of materials across wood, concrete, steel, and masonry designs and read structural calculations and drawings. The role emphasizes teamwork, leadership as needed, clear reports, site observations, and staying current with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer.
• Knowledge of RAM, RISA, Revit and Enercalc is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop full construction documents (drawing and specifications) for complex structural systems and renovation projects
• Perform site observations for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
• Write clear and concise reports
• Assist in the training and professional development of EIT's
• Effectively communicate within TSP's multidisciplinary system of architects & engineers along with building owners, property managers, and contractors
• Keep updated on applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations
• Champion TSP
