RSA Architects and Engineering in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking an Architectural Designer to lead design development, produce construction documents, and manage teams, consultants, and clients through the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in architectural design, strong Revit/AutoCAD/SketchUp skills, and a portfolio demonstrating creative and technical capability.

This on-site role offers a starting compensation of $60,000 per year, full benefits, and opportunities for licensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in architectural design.
• Experience managing projects from concept through construction.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skills.
• Proficiency in design and documentation software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam and rendering tools.

Responsibilities

• Design Development and Support: develop creative and functional solutions under guidance of senior architects.
• Technical Drawing and Documentation: draft plans, sections, elevations, and details using CAD/BIM tools.
• Project Coordination and Collaboration: attend coordination meetings and track design changes.
• Professional Development and Licensure Preparation: pursue ARE exam prep and licensure steps.
• Quality and Standards Adherence: follow internal standards and contribute to high-quality outcomes.
