Job summary

A Houston-based engineering firm is seeking a Structural Engineer to develop detailed structural designs and ensure compliance with project requirements. Qualifications

Ogmint Technical Services is a niche staffing firm focused on the energy sector. Our client, a Houston based Engineering firm is seeking a Structural Engineer. The client is an Engineering and Inspection organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and create detailed structural designs and drawings for various engineering projects, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design models, layouts, and CAD drawings.
• Review and revise existing designs based on changes to requirements or site conditions.
• Design scopes will vary, including but not limited to : Detailed fabrication and assembly, installation and demolition sequences, below the hook lifting devices, building and runway structural design.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural drafting and design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, steel detailing, and reinforced concrete.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Design, or a related field is preferred, unless the candidate has 15+ years of experience.
• Eligible to work in U.S. and available to work standard 8am to 5pm CST work week hours.
