A leading national provider of technical services seeks a Structural Designer in Austin, TX. This role involves performing design assignments, drafting steel structures and concrete foundations, and overseeing junior designers. Candidates should have a certificate in Drafting/Design and at least 2 years of relevant experience. The position offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth.
Primary Function:
Perform routine design assignments, which require knowledge and skill in structural drafting of steel structures and concrete foundations. Successful candidates may be placed in a Designer I, II or III titles depending on skill and experience level.
Duties & Responsibilities
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Certificate in Drafting and/or Design is required; equivalent experience with AutoCAD may be considered in lieu of certificate. Associate's degree in Drafting/Design is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of civil/structural design is required; substation design experience is preferred.
