Dashiell, a leading provider of technical services in the energy sector, seeks a Structural Designer. The ideal candidate will perform design assignments in structural drafting of steel structures and concrete foundations. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex projects and collaborate within a team-oriented environment, ensuring high quality and accuracy in all work. Candidates should possess a certificate in Drafting and/or Design and have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Primary Function:
Perform routine design assignments, which require knowledge and skill in structural drafting of steel structures and concrete foundations. Successful candidates may be placed in a Designer I, II or III titles depending on skill and experience level.
Duties & Responsibilities
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Certificate in Drafting and/or Design is required; equivalent experience with AutoCAD may be considered in lieu of certificate. Associate's degree in Drafting/Design is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of civil/structural design is required; substation design experience is preferred.
