Job summary

RESPEC seeks a Student Engineer (Structural) Intern for our Summer Internship 2027 program in our Brookings, SD office. This is a temporary part-time position designed to expose interns to real engineering projects within a leading North American consulting firm.

As part of the Facilities (Structural) Market Sector, interns will work alongside full-time staff to learn professional services delivery, with mentoring to develop civil engineering skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering
• Solid time management skills and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work
• Coursework in structural design or related areas
• Good written and verbal communication skills
