Nucor Buildings Group West LLC in Lathrop, CA seeks a Structural Design Engineer to design all aspects of metal building systems, including structural steel, wall and roof panels, secondary members, and stability bracing.

You will use proprietary software for frame and panel analysis, review drawings for accuracy, and work closely with the Detailing Department to ensure project success while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam completed prior to hire date.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilités

• Design all aspects of metal building systems including structural steel, walls, roofs, secondary members, and stability bracing.
• Use proprietary software for frame, secondary, bracing, crane, mezzanine, and panel analysis.
• Review structural drawings for accuracy and collaborate with the Detailing Department.
• Maintain safety policies and standards in all design activities.
• Pursue continuous learning and cross-team collaboration to find innovative solutions.
