Thomas & Hutton has an immediate opening for a motivated Structural EIT in Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA. You will design and draft a wide range of structures for public and private clients across industrial, commercial, municipal, and energy markets.
Responsibilities include producing construction documents, performing structural analyses, and coordinating with engineers and landscape architects. A Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and 2+ years of drafting/design experience are required; US EIT
Thomas & Hutton has an immediate opening for a motivated and driven Structural EIT in Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA.
The candidate will be involved in the design and drafting of a large variety of structures for both internal and external clients, public and private. Markets for structural services include industrial, commercial, municipal, marine, institutional, residential and energy. Structures may include, but are not limited to, treatment plants, marinas, bulkheads, piers, wharves, bridges, buildings, drainage and water control structures, pump stations, monuments, specialty equipment foundations, and more. Designs will predominantly include concrete, wood, structural steel, and masonry, although other materials such as cold formed metal framing, aluminum and fiber reinforced polymer may also be included.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years of structural drafting & design experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, structural emphasis. US EIT Licensure preferred.
On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
