Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL seeks an engineer to own design and integration of metallic structural components for New Glenn's first stage. You will interpret models, drawings, and test procedures to support MRB and nonconformance work, and help drive hardware improvements on the factory floor.

This role requires 2+ years in aerospace-like environments, strong 3D CAD skills, GD&T, and willingness to travel or work off-shift as needed.

Qualificações

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
• 2+ years in production, integration, or design of mechanical/structural elements.
• Experience with material selection and manufacturing techniques.
• Strong 3D CAD design and integration skills.
• Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).

Responsabilidades

• Own design engineering of metallic structural and mechanical components.
• Interpret models, drawings, specs, and test procedures.
• Support integration by removing roadblocks and coordinating across disciplines.
• Identify opportunities for stage integration and hardware improvements.
• Support release and lifecycle management of engineering artifacts.
