Job summary

HUNT is seeking a Structural Engineering Designer to advance building projects across markets. You will contribute to structural design, analysis, and documentation under licensed engineers, coordinating with architects and design teams in the Rochester area.

The role involves creating structural models, performing calculations, preparing drawings, and supporting project delivery from concept through construction, with opportunities to grow technical expertise and ownership.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis or related field.
• EIT license required.
• 2-5 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Proficiency with STAAD or RAM; experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver building projects across markets, collaborating with engineers and architects.
• Perform structural calculations and develop models; prepare construction drawings and details.
• Coordinate with project teams and assist with construction administration.
• Conduct field observations and inspections as needed; document technical aspects.
• Prepare technical documentation for project delivery from concept through construction.
