Qualifications

• 3 years experience in frames or structures design and release
• BS Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent communication skills, written verbal
• Ability to lead a team, work with cross functional group

Responsibilities

• Design and Release Engineering for Frame, Mounts, Spare Tire Winches, and/or Tow Hooks, responsible for forward model development, release, and through launch
• Apply engineering disciplines including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Perfect Drawing Plan and Engineering Specifications
• Lead design to meet vehicle attributes including package, crash, durability, upfitting, and thermal management
• Lead, review, and approve Frame Structure designs to ensure delivery to component ES and vehicle requirements
• Resolve durability, assembly, and functional issues identified
• Coach, mentor and guide peer engineers through Technical Club forums
• Deliver focused Material Cost Reduction and Warranty reduction and benchmarking
