Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (required)
• Master of Science in Structural Engineering (preferred)
• 0-2 years of experience in the same or similar role
• Experience with analytical software (ETABS, RAM, etc.) and Revit preferred
• Knowledge of general engineering principles, statics, dynamics of structures and general design
• Basic knowledge of structural design for concrete, steel, timber, and masonry
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Maintain a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design, calculations, and preparation of plans and specifications per agency requirements and general design standards
• Establish and maintain communication with design team, clients, consultants, and contractors
• Provide construction administration and support, including resolving field issues, reviewing submittals, and addressing RFIs
• Create detailed engineering designs using ETABS, RAM, Revit, and other tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and constraints
• Perform calculations, simulations, and tests to validate design concepts and compliance
• Generate and review design documentation, drawings, and reports
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to improve design processes
• Participate in design reviews, meetings, and client presentations
• Work with CAD drafters to produce construction documents
• Perform other tasks as required

Education

Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
