Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) in Blacksburg, VA, is seeking a Design Engineer - Structural to support large-scale energy infrastructure projects across North America. You will contribute to pre-construction design, development of construction plans, and on-site support during construction and erection under PM oversight.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, EIT/FE certification, 0–3 years of design experience with concrete/steel, and proficiency in RISA, SPColumn,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or FE certification with licensure interest.
0–3 years design experience in structural engineering with concrete/steel.
Proficiency with structural software tools listed in the qualifications.

Responsibilities

Support design production and develop construction drawings and specs.
Provide engineering support during construction and erection.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve design challenges.
