Job summary

Ateeca Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to develop and maintain structural and interior payload system designs for aerospace applications. You will interact with engineering groups, production, suppliers and customers throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering with 5+ years in design, integration or certification and strong FAA Part 25 knowledge or equivalent. Experience in interiors and materials properties, plus project leadership, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace or Materials) is required.
• 5+ years in engineering design, integration or certification.
• FAA Part 25 knowledge or equivalent (EASA) preferred.
• Experience in aerospace interiors and materials properties.
• Experience leading projects and proposals with schedules and budgets.

Job description

• Develops, maintains and modifies structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience.
• Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA equivalent.
• Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria and release processes.
• Experience in program or project management, leading project and/or program proposals of varying complexity (including: development and execution of schedule milestones, financial assessments, resource assessments, risk and/or issues management, etc.).
