Job summary

Ateeca Inc in Everett, WA is seeking a BS-educated engineer to develop, maintain and modify structural and interior payload system designs for aircraft. You will use 3-D CAD tools and coordinate with engineering groups, production, suppliers and customers through the product lifecycle.

Candidates should have strong grounding in mechanical/aerospace engineering, experience with cabin and cargo systems, and familiarity with FAA Title 14 Part 25 or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences; 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic understanding and demonstrated experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA equivalent.

• Develops, maintains and modifies basic structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.

Job description

• Experience with engineering processes and tools; including CSDT, CATIA, ENOVIA, PDM, and associated release processes.
• Experience with aircraft cabin and cargo engineering products and designs
• Experience with Aircraft cargo compartment and handling system design, integration, and/or certification
• Develops, maintains and modifies basic structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences). 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic understanding and demonstrated experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA equivalent.
