Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering is required.
• 3+ years of structural engineering experience is required.
• EIT certification is required; PE license is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of steel, concrete, timber design and familiarity with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.
• Competent or proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient with structural design software (STAAD, EnerCalc).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is currently seeking a well-rounded, highly motivated engineer who is already a Project Manager, or ready to become one, to join our Holmdel, NJ Structural team, working on civil, marine, and amusement design projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs and/or technical data.

• Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $95,000 to $140,000 per year (Depending on Qualifications)
