Job summary

Abonmarche, a multidisciplinary design firm in Kalamazoo, MI, is seeking a Structural Civil Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on working within a multidisciplinary design group to produce PS&E construction documents and solve complex structural challenges.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, 0–5 years of experience, and is or will be licensed (PE) or EIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis required.
• 0-5 years of relevant work experience.
• PE or EIT preferred.
• Building design experience using the International Building Code (IBC).
• CAD and/or Revit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural engineering design of commercial and residential projects.
• Experience with engineering 3D structural analysis software, such as RISA 3-D or equivalent.
• Create and develop construction documents.
• Write and review specifications.
• Review shop drawings.
• Conduct site visits when needed.
