The Company

Our client is a well‑established, family‑owned structural and miscellaneous steel company based in North Carolina. As an AISC‑certified fabricator and service center, they deliver full end‑to‑end steel solutions including field measurement, design, detailing, fabrication, project management, and on‑site erection across a wide range of projects nationwide.

Day to day

• Review and check Tekla Structures models and drawings for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure constructability and compliance with industry and company standards
• Collaborate closely with the team
• Provide technical feedback to improve detailing quality and efficiency
• Support expanding in‑house detailing operations with additional checking capacity

Requirements

• Strong experience with Tekla Structures is essential
• Senior‑level structural steel detailing background preferred
• Deep technical understanding of steel detailing practices and standards
• Background with a fabricator transitioning into detailing highly desirable
• Willingness to work on‑site (non‑negotiable)
