Job summary

Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP is seeking a CADD Designer to join our Bridge design group in Richmond, VA. Ideal candidates have 5-10 years of experience and a background in transportation projects and contract documents following VDOT guidelines.

The position emphasizes independent work and teamwork within a full-time role. Proficiency in MicroStation is required; OpenRoads/OpenBridge and AutoCAD are a plus, along with relevant technical certifications.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in CADD roles, preferably in bridge design.
• High School diploma required; technical cert or degree preferred.
• Experience with MicroStation required; OpenRoads/OpenBridge a plus.
• Background in structural design and transportation projects a plus.
• Experience with Southeast/Mid-Atlantic agencies a plus.

We are seeking a CADD Designer to join our Bridge design group in our Richmond, VA office.

Requirements:

• 5 - 10 years of experience required
• High School diploma or State Equivalency Certificate Required. Technical Certification, Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
• Experience with MicroStation required
• Experience with OpenRoads/OpenBridge a plus
• Experience with AutoCAD a plus
• Background in structural designing preferred
• Experience designing transportation projects and preparing contract documents in accordance with VDOT policies and procedures a plus
• Experience with other state and local agencies in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently

The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $50,000.00 - $90,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
