Job description

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Structural Bridge Engineering Manager to lead a team of structural bridge engineers responsible for the planning, design, project delivery, and technical execution of bridge engineering projects.

This role combines technical leadership, project management, staff development, resource planning, client relationship management, and business development. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of structural bridge engineering experience, an active PE license, and strong experience with PennDOT bridge projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of structural bridge engineers and technical staff.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and delivery of structural bridge engineering projects.
  • Provide technical guidance to project managers, engineers, and design staff.
  • Manage project workload, staffing, resources, schedules, budgets, and quality.
  • Develop resource and staffing plans based on current and projected project needs.
  • Coordinate department budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Support strategic growth plans with office leadership and practice leaders.
  • Develop and expand market presence through client relationships, marketing, and business development.
  • Lead and contribute to proposals, statements of qualifications, and business development initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Interview, hire, onboard, and develop engineering staff.
  • Establish performance expectations and conduct regular coaching, feedback, and 1:1 meetings.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support employee career development.
  • Promote technical excellence, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement across the structural bridge practice.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field from an accredited program.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 10+ years of structural bridge engineering experience with increasing technical and project leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience with PennDOT bridge projects.
  • Experience managing engineering projects, teams, schedules, budgets, and client deliverables.
  • Proven business development and client relationship management experience.
  • Strong technical leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with county and state transportation or infrastructure clients.
  • Previous supervisory or engineering management experience.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Established relationships with public-sector transportation or infrastructure clients.
  • Experience developing proposals and supporting strategic market growth.

Work Schedule

Hybrid: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with remote days typically Wednesday and Friday.
