Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer to support planning, analysis, and design of transportation structures for public infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical leadership to ensure high-quality engineering solutions for transportation clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• PE license preferred, EIT required.
• 4+ years of relevant engineering experience delivering transportation projects.
• Familiarity with state DOT standards and federally funded project requirements.
• Proficiency with structural analysis/bridge design software; MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural analyses, calculations, design documents, and specifications for bridge projects.
• Collaborate with disciplines to develop solutions for complex challenges.
• Perform engineering tasks independently or as task lead within budgets and schedules.
• Support project managers with scope development, fee estimates, and proposals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project team members.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in field investigations, inspections, and site visits as needed.
• Attend client meetings and travel periodically.
