Job Description:
McCormick Taylor is seeking an experienced Structural/Bridge Engineer (Structural Engineer III) with a minimum of 5 years of bridge design experience to join our Baltimore, MD office location. The primary duties of the Structural Engineer III are to perform structural analysis and prepare design calculations for various transportation structures in accordance with AASHTO LRFD and DOT (MDOT, MdTA, MTA, and local MD agencies) specifications and standards. Qualified candidates should have a diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas related to bridge design; geotechnical/foundation design, substructure design, superstructure design, and retaining and noise walls. Candidates should also have bridge inspection experience and qualify as a NBIS Inspection Team Leader.
