RESPEC, an internationally recognized engineering consulting company, seeks a Structural BIM Technician for onsite roles in Cheyenne, WY; Denver, CO; Rapid City, SD; and Sioux Falls, SD. The position is full-time and based in-office, focusing on drafting and modeling complex structures with BIM tools.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team leveraging Revit, AutoCAD, and related software. The role includes training, collaboration, and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive

Competenze

• Associate’s degree in engineering/architectural drafting from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in BIM and CAD software (Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD).
• Interest in emerging technologies; strong visualization and detail orientation.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in collaborative team settings.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel for business.
• Exposure to Revit, AutoCAD or other CAD/BIM software during education or work.
• Basic understanding of structural systems (foundations, steel, concrete, masonry, wood).
• Familiarity with construction documents and MS Office or project-management software.

Mansioni

• Work primarily in BIM workflows using Revit with potential access to Forma, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Model and document wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures with plans, elevations, and details.
• Visualize complex structures to ensure coordination across disciplines.
• Maintain and curate BIM/CADD libraries to streamline access to resources.
