Job summary

RESPEC, an internationally recognized engineering consulting company, seeks a Structural BIM Technician for our multi-location team. This full-time, onsite role focuses on drafting and modeling complex structures using Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering design group, contribute to plans, elevations, and details, and support library management and project documentation. Training and mentorship are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level prerequisites are not required; an associate-degree in engineering/architectural drafting or directly related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in BIM and CAD software (Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD) is required.
• Interest in emerging technologies and strong visualization skills are desired.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in collaborative team settings is essential.
• Must have valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site work.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in Revit and leverage Forma, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu to enhance workflows.
• Model and document wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures; produce plans, elevations and details.
• Visualize complex structures to ensure coordination across disciplines.
• Curate and maintain BIM/CADD library and related resources.
