RESPEC is an internationally recognized engineering consulting company seeking a Structural BIM Technician for multiple locations. This full-time, onsite role supports the engineering team in drafting and modeling complex structures using BIM software and CAD tools.

You will contribute to plans, elevations and details, while maintaining BIM/CADD libraries and supporting project coordination. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in engineering/architectural drafting, strong visualization

Qualifications

• Minimum associate’s degree in engineering/architectural drafting and/or directly related degree from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in BIM and CAD software (Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD).
• Interest in emerging technologies.
• Strong visualization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in collaborative team settings.
• Ability to interpret written, verbal, and visual direction.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.
• Exposure to Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, or other CAD/BIM software through education, internships, or previous work experience.

Responsabilités

• Cutting-Edge Technology: work with BIM software, primarily Revit, with opportunity to use Forma, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu to improve workflows.
• Impactful work: model wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures and produce plans, elevations, and details.
• Visualize and Coordinate: ensure coordination across disciplines and identify spatial conflicts to optimize designs.
• Library Management: curate and maintain BIM and CADD library for resource access.
