Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in the United States is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to collaborate with project managers and engineers to produce structural BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings. You will develop Revit models, coordinate drawing production across disciplines, perform BIM clash detection, and mentor less experienced designers while helping advance CAD/BIM standards and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6–10 years of experience (or equivalent on associate degree/technical cert).
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.
• Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for medium to large projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Coordinating drawing development with multiple disciplines.
• Performing BIM clash detection and resolving conflicts.
• Training and mentoring less experienced designers.
• Reviewing models and drawings for quality and standards.
• Providing input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows.
