Blue Origin is seeking a structural analysis engineer to support ground support equipment and manufacturing tooling. The role involves performing strength assessments with classical analysis and FEA, reviewing stress analyses, and guiding designers on stress and fracture analysis.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on design development and trade studies. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of experience with FEMs (Ansys/NX/Nastran).

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
As a member of this highly skilled and collaborative team, you will be responsible for providing structural analysis support for ground support equipment (GSE) and manufacturing tooling, including but not limited to machining fixtures, assembly fixtures, and mechanical systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting structural analyses, reviewing and evaluating both internally developed and vendor-produced designs, and offering structural design consultations to designers and external partners.
