This role involves performing structural dynamics assessments, developing finite element models, and evaluating hardware performance throughout the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure structural integrity, dynamic performance, and compliance with program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural dynamics assessments for aerospace systems.




• Develop finite element models to evaluate hardware performance.




• Conduct loads, vibration, shock, acoustic, and modal analyses.




• Support hardware test campaigns and correlate analytical models to test data.




• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and requirements.




• Present technical findings to multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Skills

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.




• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing structural dynamics analyses for aerospace, spaceflight, or other complex engineered systems.




• Proficiency with engineering analysis tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar software packages.




• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.




• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting spacecraft, launch vehicle, satellite, or human spaceflight programs.




• Proficiency with Beta CAE software products, including ANSA, META, and EPILYSIS.




• Experience working within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments such as Windchill.




• Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field.




• Demonstrated project leadership, task management, or technical lead experience.

Work Environment

The candidate will be working in an environment split between 80% office work and 20% shop interaction with technicians.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
