Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA, invites a Stroke Rehabilitation Physiatrist to join a CARF-accredited program offering inpatient rehab, consults, clinics and procedures.

The role includes teaching PM&R residents and medical students, collaborating with neurologists, neurosurgeons and therapists, and opportunities to participate in innovative research within a nationally respected academic medical center.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent is required.
• Board certification/eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Current PA medical license or eligibility.
• Ability to obtain federal and state narcotics certificates.
• Completion of an accredited training program.

Responsibilities

• Stroke-focused inpatient rehabilitation, consults, clinics and procedures.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery and rehab teams within the health system.
• Engage in teaching residents and medical students; participate in research opportunities.
• Contribute to a high-quality CARF-accredited program and program development.
