Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group seeks a Vascular Neurology NeuroCritical Care Intensivist– Medical Director Stroke Program in Willowbrook, 28 miles north of downtown Houston. Primary ICU leadership, managing complex neurological illnesses, with inpatient neurocritical care focus.

The candidate will lead the Comprehensive Stroke Center, oversee quality initiatives and accreditation standards, and drive program development; Texas license or license in process required.

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in neurocritical care and board certified/eligible.
• Texas medical license or in the process of obtaining one.
• Leadership experience in a clinical or multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Primary ICU focus; manage complex neurological illnesses and injuries.
• Provide inpatient neurological care including ICU/IMU consultations.
• Lead the Comprehensive Stroke Center with quality initiatives and program development.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and coordination.
