The RN must hold a BSN (or MSN preferred), be licensed in Virginia, and bring at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, including critical care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or MSN preferred.
• Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stroke program and ensure adherence to accrediting and CMS standards.
• Provide clinical nursing care knowledge and assist with program education.
• Ensure annual educational requirements for certified stroke centers are met.
