Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Stroke Program Coordinator for a part-time, day shift (20 hours per week). The role requires an RN with a BSN (MSN preferred) and at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, including critical care exposure (ED/ICU).

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice (Virginia)
• BSN required; MSN preferred for advanced practice or leadership
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience in critical care (ED/ICU) desired
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Provide professional, clinical nursing and technical knowledge for stroke patient care
• Assess, manage, implement and evaluate interventions per accrediting bodies and CMS for program certification

The Stroke Program Coordinator will ensure the assessment, management, implementation, and evaluation of interventions set forth by accrediting agencies for disease specific program certifications and CMS.
