Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Stroke Program Coordinator to lead evidence-based stroke care coordination within the team. The role emphasizes clinical excellence and outcomes-focused nursing practice for stroke patients and families.

Qualified candidates will be an RN with a BSN and at least five years of clinical experience (med/surg or neurosurgery preferred) and BCLS certification. This is a non-travel, on-site role with strong professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN with active license required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Five years of experience in a clinical specialty (Med/Surg, Neurosurgery preferred).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

• Foster staff learning through coaching and role modeling to promote best practices.

Position summary:

Demonstrates a high level of clinical competence that creates an environment of clinical excellence resulting in improved individual and group clinical outcomes. Facilitates individualized, evidence-based, highly effective care to patients and families through coordination/collaboration of the entire healthcare team. Through role modeling, coaching and demonstration, fosters learning for the staff and promotes outcomes-oriented nursing practice.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Five (5) years experience in clinical specialty (Med/Surg, Neurosurgery preferred).
• Bachelors Science Nursing Degree required
