Summa Health Medical Group in Akron, Ohio is seeking an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to join our Neuroscience Institute. The position features inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, promoting work-life balance and continuity of care.

You will collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care teams to deliver coordinated care from emergency intervention through recovery.

Qualifications

• Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio or ability to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Provide inpatient stroke neurology coverage on a 7-on/7-off block schedule.
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Support Telestroke rotation and participate in program development as needed.

The selected provider will work in close collaboration alongside Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma programs to ensure seamless, coordinated care from emergency intervention through recovery.
