Job summary

Prime Healthcare seeks a Stroke/Chest Pain - Coordinator to lead and coordinate Chest Pain Center Accreditation and Stroke Certification efforts at Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX. You will train teams, review protocols and drive performance improvement with ED and hospital leadership.

The role requires an RN license, BLS on hire, and at least 3 years in an acute care setting; BSN is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork and computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital environment.
• Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Team approach to patient care.
• Working knowledge of computers and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• The Chest Pain - Stroke Program Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the Key Elements of the Chest Pain Center Accreditation/Stroke Certification process, including development and review of protocols, initial and ongoing training, performance improvement and community outreach.
• This will be achieved by collaborating with the Emergency Department, ED Director, the Chest pain Committee, Stroke Committee, EMS, hospital department directors and staff.
