Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX, is seeking a Chest Pain Center Coordinator / Stroke Center Coordinator. This full-time role, with day shifts, reports directly to the Quality Director and coordinates accreditation and certification processes, develops protocols, and leads training and performance improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with an active state license, current BLS, and at least three years in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital.
• Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team approach to patient care and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate Chest Pain Center accreditation and Stroke Certification processes.
• Develop, review and train protocols; lead performance improvement and outreach.
• Collaborate with ED, Chest Pain Committee, Stroke Committee, EMS and hospital staff.

We are seeking aStroke/Chest Pain - Coordinator. The Chest Pain Center Coordinator / Stroke Center Coordinator is responsible and accountable directly to the Quality Director.

Responsibilities

• The Chest Pain - Stroke Program Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the Key Elements of the Chest Pain Center Accreditation/Stroke Certification process, including development and review of protocols, initial and ongoing training, performance improvement and community outreach.
• This will be achieved by collaborating with the Emergency Department, ED Director, the Chest pain Committee, Stroke Committee, EMS, hospital department directors and staff.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital environment.
• Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Team approach to patient care.
• Working knowledge of computers and computer applications.
• Day and evening flexibility required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
